Left Redding around 8am this morning and headed east on CA44, through Susanville then got on US395 to Reno/Sparks. I80 got me to Fernley. I’ve driven that route more times than I can count, but never stopped at the vista point up the hill from Old Station. I decided to stop this time.
And, this is what I saw…
Arrived at the Desert Rose RV Park on US50 Alt a bit after 2pm. Parked the van, leveled the trailer and hooked it up to city water & electric, then called my son to make lunch/dinner plans. As before, we opted for all-you-can-eat at Sushi Moto in Fernley. Bryson likes the cooked stuff while I prefer sushi raw. For cooked stuff, the Crystal Shrimp was pretty tasty.
